Protection Dog Training for Peoria owners
Central Illinois clients who travel in for residential programs.
Handlers come to us from Peoria for protection work because it cannot be done casually. Real protection training requires certified decoys, controlled scenarios, and a facility set up for daily structured repetition — not a weekly class in a parking lot.
Every protection dog is an obedience dog first. Control, neutrality in public and a clean off switch come before any grip work, and candidacy depends on genetics, nerve and temperament. We assess honestly, because the wrong dog in this work is a liability.
Protection and sport programs start with a conversation and an evaluation rather than an online booking.
